Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Pimpri, Chinchwad, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 1–3 Years.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a seamless IT experience for end-users across various client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents via helpdesk system or direct calls.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, software licenses, and antivirus systems.
- Provide basic network support (LAN/WAN connectivity, IP configuration, etc.).
- Ensure data security and compliance with our Company’s IT policies.
- Coordinate with Level 2/3 support and escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and asset inventory.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding employees with respect to IT hardware and software.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high level of user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus software, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and remote desktop tools.
- A+ / N+ / MCP / CCNA certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites if required.
