About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals starting their careers who have a strong interest in data engineering and cloud technologies. You will gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Assist in designing and implementing data models and storage solutions.
- Learn and work with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Participate in the development and optimization of data warehouses.
- Help ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with Azure’s data services or a strong desire to learn.
- Fundamental knowledge of data structures, data types, and storage mechanisms.
- Exposure to data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- SQL / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts
- Data Warehousing and Big Data Technologies
- Exposure to Python programming
- Interest or foundational knowledge in AI/ML
