About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and optimize cloud performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Provision and manage AWS services including:
• AWS EC2 for compute resources
• AWS S3 for object storage
• AWS RDS for relational databases
• AWS Elastic Beanstalk for application deployment
• AWS CloudFront for CDN and content delivery
• AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and logging
• IAM for access and security management
• VPC for network configuration
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement security best practices including encryption, secure networking, and IAM policies.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:
• EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, CloudWatch
• IAM, VPC, Route 53, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Terraform / CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipeline experience:
• Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / AWS CodeBuild & CodeDeploy
•Containerization & orchestration:
•Docker
•Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
•Version control systems:
•Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
•Scripting knowledge:
•Python / Bash / Shell scripting
•Monitoring & Logging:
•CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
•Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer / SysOps Administrator)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of security best practices (DevSecOps)
- Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
- Experience with container registries (ECR)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
