Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps and DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and help improve the
automation, integration, and security of our software development and deployment processes. In this role, you will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain secure and reliable systems, applications, and infrastructure using DevOps and DevSecOps principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, and security) to ensure seamless
integration of code into development and production environments.
• Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable software delivery.
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI,
Circle CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Manage version control, branching, and release management through tools like Git and
Bitbucket.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that security is integrated throughout the DevOps
lifecycle, focusing on DevSecOps practices.
• Implement security tools and practices for continuous vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the infrastructure for better scalability and performance.
• Implement logging and monitoring systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog to ensure application uptime and health.
• Ensure that systems are fully secured and compliant with relevant standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
• Respond to security incidents and implement mitigation steps as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging DevOps and security technologies, and
implement best practices and tools.
