Location: Pune
As a MERN Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and
maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
You will collaborate closely with our development team to create dynamic, scalable, and high- performance applications. This role involves working on both the front-end and back-end, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing Frontend Applications:
· Implement user-friendly interfaces using React.js and related libraries.
· Ensure high-quality UI/UX design principles are applied.
· Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive web
interfaces.
- Building Backend Services:
· Develop server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
· Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end
and back-end systems.
· Integrate data storage solutions such as MongoDB for efficient data handling.
3. Database Management:
· Design and optimize MongoDB databases.
· Implement database schemas, queries, and indexes for data retrieval and manipulation.
· Ensure data integrity and security measures are in place.
4. Code Review and Collaboration:
· Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
· Collaborate with team members on technical solutions and architecture decisions.
· Mentor junior developers and interns, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative
environment. - Troubleshooting and Debugging:
· Identify and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Continuous Integration and Deployment:
· Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of
applications.
· Work with DevOps team to streamline deployment processes and ensure smooth
releases.
7. Testing and Quality Assurance:
· Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
· Perform code reviews with a focus on testability, maintainability, and performance.
· Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage and
reliability.
8. Adherence to Best Practices:
· Follow coding standards, software development methodologies, and best practices.
· Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and frameworks related to MERN stack
development.
· Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
9. Additional Responsibilities:
· Assist in project planning and sprint reviews.
· Research and prototype new technologies as needed.
Requirements / Skills:
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
· Solid understanding and hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB,
Express.js, React, Node.js).
· Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
· Experience in designing and implementing scalable web applications.
· Ability to debug and optimize code for performance and scalability.
· Knowledge of version control using Git and collaborative tools like GitHub or GitLab.
· Understanding of front-end and back-end architecture and frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and
industry trends.
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
(preferred but not required).
· Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is
a plus.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
