We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Software Engineer QA with strong skills in
both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,
implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality of our applications and systems. You
will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to deliver
reliable, high-performing software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts for manual and
automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using tools like Selenium,
TestNG, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify root causes of defects.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and improve quality.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA,
Bugzilla).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4+ years of professional experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cypress,
JUnit, or similar.
• Good experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
