Job description
- Design, develop and maintain appropriately scaled, effective solutions to support data quality, migration, and reconciliation activity in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and related tools.
- Very strong T-SQL skills and strong knowledge of ETL techniques.
- Creating and analyzing complex queries, store procedures, tables, views, triggers, functions, and SQL Jobs.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for designing and creating custom reports.
- Design and implementation of SSIS, and ETL based on business requirements.
- Good understanding of Database Design, Integrity, and optimization process.
- In-depth experience in performance-tuning SQL Server database code and environments, and SQL profiling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to understand business requirements and develop SQL Server solutions that work within the technical boundaries.
- Working directly with the business teams to understand their needs, and identify and resolve data issues.
- Knowledge of security management such as users and object permission.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment. The candidate can manage multiple tasks and independently manage his/her own time.
- Candidate must be intellectually curious, be adept in database technologies, can mine data to answer complex questions, and communicate findings.
