Hiring for IT Support Specialist!!!!! 

Location : Chennai, India (Hybrid- Work from Home and on site)

Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end users for computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues,
resolving problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and system backups.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers and networking
equipment.
Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Train end-users on the proper use of hardware and software applications.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology.
Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor & degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented approach with the ability to provide exceptional service.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent, are a
plus.
Additional Skills:

Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking.

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
