Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to analyse requirements and translate them into user stories and development tasks.
- Write clear and concise user stories that capture the functional and nonfunctional requirements, acceptance criteria, and any dependencies for the development team.
- Develop PHP applications using best practices, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement Agile processes from scratch, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization, implementing Agile tools, and facilitating knowledge sharing among team members.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of software features and enhancements while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform debugging, and implement effective solutions to improve application performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PHP development and Agile methodologies and share knowledge with the team to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a track record of developing and maintaining web applications using PHP/Laravel frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in implementing Agile processes from scratch.
- Proficiency in writing user stories and translating requirements into development tasks.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and knowledge of RESTful API development is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
