Job Description: Power BI Developer 2+yrs experience
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Power BI
dashboards and reports. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization, business intelligence
concepts, and experience in Power BI development. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills,
attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports according to business requirements.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Design and implement data models and transformations to support data visualization needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements.
- Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI best practices.
- Optimize performance and ensure the scalability of Power BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to technical problems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Power BI and data visualization.
- Assist in training end-users on how to utilize Power BI reports and dashboards effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in Power
BI development and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report/dashboard design.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience in data analysis, data transformation, and data cleansing.
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and end-users.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
