Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer proficient in Solid Edge and AutoCAD to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our company’s product development process, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components while driving innovation through comprehensive research.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize Solid Edge and AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical designs.
- Translate conceptual ideas and requirements into feasible, detailed designs with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating innovative solutions into design processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and successful implementation of designs.
- Generate technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to support manufacturing processes and facilitate effective communication across teams.
- Participate in design reviews, offering insights, feedback, and recommendations to enhance product performance and quality.
- Conduct design validation tests, analyze results, and iterate designs as necessary to meet performance criteria and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations, modifications, and project progress, adhering to documentation and version control protocols.
- Stay abreast of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to mechanical design and engineering practices.
