Job Description
Role : ETL Tester
Who are we looking for?
Data Application Testing & with 3+ years of experience in Life Insurance IT Projects
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of ETL and Data Skills
o analyze the Inbound feeds,
o validate the data sources,
o process the Workflows in Informatics,
o Extract data, Querying the database contents,
o Execute SQL SPs /Jobs, SSIS packages, verify transformation rules, validate the feed against DB Contents/ outbound extracts
o Identify root cause of Informatics/SSIS job failures.
Hands experience with Informatics tool is an added advantage.
Knowledge on Query Surge tool is also an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools & processes.
Design, execute and report software tests.
Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
Execute tests (manual / automated).
Report defects and assist in their understanding.
Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
Prepare and present test reports.
Life Insurance PAS testing exposure.
Conduct RCA and advanced performance tuning of complex business processes and functionality.
Good to have – Experience in Selenium, UFT automation tools and ALM, JIRA etc.
Process Skills:
Have proficient knowledge in ETL & Testing process and all testing phases.
Ability to execute test plans, create test cases, test data and contribute to the success of project.
Behavioral Skills :
Proficient communication skills.
Excellent analytic approach and problem-solving technique.
Flexible & adjustable attitude.
Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
