Job Opening for IT Professional-Microsoft Project (Job Code RT 1613)

Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Professional to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities at Naval base(NSRY), Kochi. The candidate should have good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the ability to maintain project schedules, track progress, and prepare project-related reports. In addition, he should be proficient in MS Excel and Access and has knowledge of projecting/simplifying data in a simple way with inclusion of graphs, charts, PERT and Ghantt Chart.

Responsibilities

• - Prepare, update, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• - Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and task dependencies.
• - Monitor project progress and identify delays or deviations from planned schedules.
• - Prepare progress reports, Gantt charts, and project status summaries.
• - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
• - Maintain project documentation and records.
• - Assist in resource planning, task allocation, and deadline monitoring.
• - Ensure proper handling of project-related information and compliance with applicable site security procedures.
• - Able to maintain the IT infrastructure being utilised by him.
