About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester (Fresher) to join us
Quality Assurance team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of
high-quality software by performing testing activities, identifying bugs, and collaborating with
developers to improve product performance.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about software quality, eager to learn, and
looking to build a strong foundation in QA.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand project requirements and assist in creating test cases and test scenarios.
2. Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
3. Execute test cases and log defects with clear documentation.
4. Report bugs and track them through resolution.
5. Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and verify fixes.
6. Participate in regression, functional, usability, and smoke testing.
7. Assist in preparing test documentation (test plans, test reports, etc.).
8. Maintain testing standards and best practices as guided by senior QA engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or any computer-related field such as BCS, BCA, BSc (Computer Science), BE (IT/CS), MCS, MCA, or equivalent.
2. Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
3. Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, regression, smoke, etc.).
4. Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello) — preferred, not
mandatory.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
7. Good communication and teamwork skill
